This means we can accommodate a variety of part sizes and geometries. Whether it's a long feedscrew, tiny valves or large stamping dies, we have the equipment sizes to meet your needs. Plus, with multiple locations, there is always a contingency plan in place, mitigating risk.

AHT's founder, Gary Sharp, has been recognized by The Monty as being "the man most responsible for making plasma nitriding a mainstream process in North America." The nitriding process was gaining popularity in Europe, and then Gary Sharp increased that visibility in North America when he founded Advanced Heat Treat Corp. in 1981, exclusively offering ion/plasma nitriding.

Due to increased compressive stresses at the part surface, fatigue strength is improved five to ten times its typical "non-treated" life, dependent on the material and part design. Studies have shown fatigue strength is improved without distortion as compared to other surface treatments, saving customers money on fewer operations.

UltraGlow's® case hardening processes can create a controlled white layer or compound zone which will improve a parts susceptibility to corrode or rust. This nitrogen enriched layer helps combat the elements and keep your parts looking fresh.
