WATERLOO, IA – February 17, 2020 – Advanced Heat Treat Corp. (AHT), a recognized leader in heat treat services and metallurgical solutions, will exhibit at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, March 10-14. Located at booth #B91027 in the indoor bronze hall, the company will feature a small nitride vessel to demonstrate how UltraGlow® Ion Nitriding can reduce wear, fatigue and corrosion on metal components.
UltraGlow® Ion Nitriding, which naturally emits a visible purple glow, is one of AHT’s trademarked heat treatments and is offered at their facilities in Alabama, Iowa and Michigan.
AHT is well-known for their ion nitriding capabilities. In fact, AHT Founder/CEO Gary Sharp has been recognized by TheMonty.com as “the man most responsible for making plasma nitriding a mainstream process in North America.”
Aside from ion/plasma nitriding, AHT also offers gas nitriding, ferritic nitrocarburizing, UltraOx®, through hardening, carburizing, induction hardening, carbonitriding, stress relieve and more. Additionally, they sell UltraOx® hydraulic cylinder bar with lengths up to 12-feet, diameters ranging from 0.5 to 2.75 inches and surface hardnesses of 60+ HRC.
