WATERLOO, IA – February 8, 2023 – Advanced Heat Treat Corp. (AHT), a recognized leader in heat treat services and metallurgical solutions, announced the promotion of Joel Robinson to Corporate Human Resources Manager.
Robinson has been employed at AHT since 1999. He began his AHT journey on the shop floor as a general laborer (Heat Treat Technician) and continued to work his way through diverse leadership roles with his most recent as the Human Resources/Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. In his new role, Robinson will be responsible for leading the human resources department and team initiatives across its locations in Alabama, Michigan and Iowa.

Robinson is an active member in the community serving on numerous committees such as Hawkeye Community College's Marketing Management Advisory Board, Waterloo Schools Career & Technical Education Advisory Board, Cedar Valley Advanced Manufacturing Partnership and more. Robinson is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration & management and a master's degree in business administration.
