2018

AHT achieves the highest Nadcap merit status possible and makes plan for expansion at the Corporate Office & Service Center in Waterloo, Iowa. They also make the switch from ISO/TS to ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949:2016.


2015

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. invests in the future with several new pieces of equipment purchased and installed, expanding capacity at all locations and adding gas nitriding (FNC) and UltraOx® capabilities to Cullman, AL!


2013

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. receives Nadcap accreditation for nitriding and AQS at the MidPort Facility!


2012

AHT trademarks its black oxidation process as UltraOx® and adds seven pieces of equipment to expand its service offerings.


2011

MidPort facility installs a 15 foot gas nitride unit.


2009

AHT CEO Gary Sharp named one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Heat Treat Industry, according to The Monty.


2007

AHT reaches 150 employees. Burton facility expansion (25,000 square feet). Cullman, Alabama facility opens (40,000 square feet) and installs one of the world's largest UltraGlow® Ion Nitride units.


2006

Monroe facility installs first UltraGlow® Gas Nitride unit. Burton facility acquires three 3,000 pound batch furnaces.


2005

Monroe facility expansion (16,000 square feet). AHT receives ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification.


2004

AHT reaches 100 employees.


2000

AHT expands to include Carburizing and Carbonitriding services.


1999

Corporate Office and Service Center on MidPort Blvd. in Waterloo, IA opens - 40,000 square feet. MidPort facility designs and installs two new UltraGlow® Ion Nitride units.


1996

AHT becomes the first heat treat provider to be certified to ISO9002/QS9000 in the USA.


1995

Monroe, Michigan facility opens. AHT reaches 50 employees.


1993

AHT expands to include UltraGlow® Induction Hardening services.


1992

Additonal Burton facility expansion in Waterloo, Iowa (6,000 square feet).


1988

Burton facility expansion in Waterloo, Iowa (6,000 square feet).


1981

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. is established by Gary Sharp on Burton Avenue in Waterloo, IA with 12 investors, two personnel and two UltraGlow® Ion Nitride units (3,200 square feet).
